Known issues with Android devices

On some Android devices, the ou app may indicate that there is no network connection, even though the device's network connection is working normally. The reason for this error message is an expired IP address that has been cached on the device.

The user can correct this situation by clearing the device's cache. This is done by following the path Settings -> Applications -> Application list -> Storage mode -> Clear data or Settings -> Application management -> Storage mode -> Clear cache and clear data. The exact method depends on the Android version and device.

Alternatively, an expired IP address may be trapped in the memory of a network device (e.g. WLAN access point). In this case, restarting the network device will help.
